New Start
Alrighty, I’ve taken the plunge and am converting my whole website into WordPress. I enjoyed making my old green site for my web development class but I’m not just intuitively skilled at visual design like some people are. So I found a lovely theme that is simple and clean and I’m moving everything over here. Plus with the newest release of WordPress 2.1, lots of little things are a lot smoother from the back end of things. I love the tabs for editing in visual and code!
So, the moral of the story is that my book blog will no longer be just a book blog but also my homepage, my page to announce new podcast episodes, document knitting projects, and maybe more. I resisted getting a blog for so long but it’s no use trying anymore. I surrender!

Thanks gals - you two are my inspiration to have a real blog. I love reading both of yours and it’s a nice easy way to keep up to date with with online friends. Plus I’m an archivist at heart so it just makes sense.
I’m still tweaking a few things and I want to change the picture in the header but overall I think I’m happy with this theme. Only real problem so far is that my child categories don’t appear indented under their parents but it’s not a huge deal.
I absolutly love your interpatation when reading the Anne books. I wish you would take on house of dreams!!

Thanks for your kind words, Pam! It is certainly tempting to do more Anne but I’ll probably do something different after Anne of Green Gables. We’ll see!

I started listening to Anne of Green Gables last night. You did a good job on that one too. I didn’t think I’d like the story - thought it might be too girly, but I’m enjoying it. It reminds me of the old television series “Little House on the Prairie.”
