It sounds like your vestibular damage due to Gentamicin was accidental. I've been dealing with this for quite a while now and done a lot of research in addition to finding myself a wonderful doctor. Meniere's and other vestibular disorders are so unique to each individual so your experiences and mine could be quite different. But thank you for your comment and I wish you the best.
