Dear Annie:
I am an English teacher in California and am so enjoying your performance of “Huckleberry Finn.” You’ve got just the right accent for the part and a woman’s voice works well for Huck’s. I plan to assign this book in class next year with the advice that slower learners use your recording to help with the reading. Great job.
All the best,

Dear Annie,
I just spent three weeks walking in the morning listening to your enchanting reading of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to do it.
August 14th, 2007 at 12:59 amThank you so much for your comments, it means the world to me to hear from my listeners and know that my labor of love is appreciated.
August 17th, 2007 at 11:39 amthanks so much for that. i had 4 books to read for AP english for 11th grade summer reading and of course i put it off forever and was down to the last week and two books left ur recording saved me from alot of trouble.

Hi Thankful and Sam - thanks so much for taking the time to write and let me know that you enjoyed my recording of Huck! It was a lot of fun to record.
September 23rd, 2007 at 7:56 pmI am in 11th grade. We have to read Huckleberry Finn. I live on a farm so I don’t have a lot of time to read it. So i listen to your recordings. Thanks so much they’re a blessing to me and many of my classmates.
October 10th, 2007 at 12:25 pmThis over here saved my life
thank yoooooou
November 13th, 2007 at 1:09 pmI listened the whole book over the past few days. I’m from China and we also have some of the translated works by Mr Twain in school texts. I only started to truly appreciate his genius after I could read the original works in English. But still, the dialects in Huck Finn just don’t clip well with me and I never finished this book in print. What a pleasant surprise from your reading! The accents really bring everything to life, along the hilarious ride with Huck.
November 21st, 2007 at 1:46 pmThank you so much for a great piece of work. I shall look you up if I go to St. Louis someday.
Es realmente agradable escuchar tus audiobooks, se ve que pones el corazón en ello y eso los hace diferentes,yo los recomiendo a todos los que están intentando aprender el idioma como un método realmente efectivo para consiguirlo.
December 4th, 2007 at 12:42 pmMuchas gracias y saludos desde España.
Spectacular reading. I spend two hours on the road each day. Listening to you do all the accents and country slang is quite pleasant, when that would be a chore to decipher when reading.
